2008年9月北京邮电大学的灵光爱国者球迷俱乐部进行了招新，招新现场气氛一度被推向高潮，很多大一新生报名参加。9月30号晚上一些会员应邀参加了NFL之夜活动，并在酒吧前合影留念。
